Dual Diagnosis Treatment
What does it mean to suffer from a “dual diagnosis” and what is dual diagnosis treatment? Generally, a patient who suffers from a mental health disorder, such as depression or anxiety, and has a substance abuse issue (either drugs, alcohol, or both) has a dual diagnosis disorder (sometimes called co-occurring or comorbid conditions).
