Christian Drug and Alcohol Rehab Treatment Center

A Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program that Brings You Back to Christ

Came to Believe at Lakeview Health Systems is a specialized Christian substance abuse track that emphasizes the role of Christ and Christian values in overcoming drug and alcohol addiction and maintaining sobriety.

Spirituality provides the cornerstone for a patient’s recovery, and one way to develop that is through an understanding and belief in Christ. Lakeview Health Systems’ Christian recovery program incorporates the best evidence-based practices of our treatment program with Christian spiritual teachings to provide a solid foundation for recovery.

Therapists who work in the program have a deep understanding of the connection between recovery, Christ, and the teachings of the Bible. Primary therapy-based workshops use both Christian workbooks as well as a Christian recovery Bible. Processing and understanding rehabilitation using this literature provides patients with powerful tools to maintain and grow in their sobriety.

These books, as well as the entire substance abuse addiction program, allow patients to explore their understanding of pain, shame, healing, using, prayer, and more. Guided meditations, interactive activities, discussions, readings, and journaling are some of the tools used in the Christian workshops.

Christian Addiction Rehabilitation

Lakeview Health Systems understands that any type of spirituality can help aid in recovery, including various religions. However, we have developed our Christian track in order to treat those individuals who have a special interest in Christianity.

All patients in this track receive our individualized treatment program, plus community meetings, 12-step workshops, group and individual therapy, spirituality workshops, leisure workshops, relapse prevention, family counseling, and more.

Came to Believe allows participants to overcome:

  • A spiritual void or disconnection
  • Family conflict
  • Isolation
  • Questioning God or Jesus Christ
  • Consequences from the use of drugs and alcohol
  • Depression and other mental health issues

Everything you need in a Christian rehabilitation can be found at Lakeview Health System with therapists and staff who have a deep, meaningful relationship with their faith. You can experience the healing power of Came to Believe here at Lakeview Health Systems.

Key program elements include:

  • A community of fellow Christians struggling with addiction who are seeking recovery
  • Individualized therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Intensive Bible study and workbook sessions
  • Regular Church attendance
  • Prayer time
  • “Celebrate Recovery” twice a week
  • Pastoral counseling if requested

Lakeview Health Systems believes that all patients should recover with dignity in a safe, secure, and confidential environment. Our Came to Believe Christian rehabilitation program offers patients a secure opportunity to discuss issues of faith, substance abuse, and recovery with other “like-minded” individuals.

Our 4-day family program also provides the family an opportunity to begin to heal from substance addiction. A primary therapist will guide the family through issues relating to faith, past traumas, personal boundaries, and other significant topics.
