The Medical Detox Program: The initial phase of our drug addiction treatment is drug detox. Here you will be evaluated by a board certified physician who will design a detox protocol to manage your withdrawal symptoms. There are two goals in our medical detox program; medical stabilization and the assessment of each patient to determine their need for ongoing addiction treatment.
Rehabilitation: The drug addiction treatment program is followed by our drug rehabilitation program. The drug rehab program at Lakeview is designed to maintain the gains realized in detox, while developing the coping skills necessary to maintain long term recovery.
The Family Recovery Program: One of the most valued of Lakeview's drug rehab program components is the Family Recovery Program. This four day family program helps the family accept, forgive and effectively communicate their feelings associated with their loved one's addiction. Families will learn how to set limits and boundaries and not fall into the all too familiar pattern of enabling. Drug Addiction Treatment Aftercare: Drug addiction treatment does not end with the completion of our drug rehab program. It requires many months to develop a firm foundation to appreciate recovery. At Lakeview, we feel that continued drug and alcohol treatment on an outpatient basis, in conjunction with attendance at 12-step meetings are the most effective ways to maintain recovery. Prior to discharge from our drug addiction treatment program we provide an aftercare or drug relapse prevention plan and introduction to your alumni coordinator. This trained specialist will remain in touch with you throughout the year in an effort to provide continuing support after completing Lakeview's drug rehab program.
