Comfortable Drug Detox

Detox (from both drugs and alcohol) can be frightening and withdrawal without medical attention can be uncomfortable or life threatening. We provide patients with care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and carefully monitor all physiological and psychological changes. Thus, we can address all medical issues that arise immediately. Our goal is to help ease the detox symptoms and prepare the patient for substance abuse treatment.

Custom-Designed Inpatient Treatment Plan

Assessments of a patient’s physical and emotional condition allow our teams to create an addiction treatment plan tailored to a patient’s specific needs. Everyone is different. Life experiences, physical, and emotional conditions vary from person to person. We believe every patient deserves a substance abuse treatment plan that addresses his or her specific circumstances.

Residential Treatment Program

Lakeview Health Systems offers a residential rehab program which allows the recovering addict to continue attending treatment after physical and psychological stabilization after detox.  This component is essential for the addict to begin relearning healthy patterns of behavior and break addiction patterns.  Guaranteeing the addict additional clean time away from his or her using environment will increase peace of mind and decrease chances of relapse.

PHP/IOP Programs

Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are step down stages of addiction treatment. Both allow the addict to slowly reintegrate daily life back into a new found recovery program. Addicts are able to continue treatment with their same treatment team staff allowing for continuity of care, which is essential to the foundation of recovery. These programs help the addict establish healthy routines for a sober and clean lifestyle.  

Dual Diagnosis Treatment Program

Our addiction treatment team of doctors, nurses and therapists utilize the best, evidence-based practices to treat dual diagnosis disorders. In fact, we are one of only a few true dual diagnosis programs in the nation. Our integrated holistic approach helps those suffering from addiction and mental disorders (such as alcoholism and Bi-polar disorder). Treating only one problem will not stop the addiction or stabilize the emotional disorder.

Additional Specialty Programs

Besides our dual diagnosis treatment program, Lakeview Health Systems also has two other specialty drug and alcohol treatment tracks. Our treatment team staff has developed an integrated Christian substance abuse treatment program which incorporates faith and addiction treatment. Our “Freedom Rings” program is a gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgender drug rehab track. We have received the “Best Practices Award” from the state of Florida offering quality addiction treatment meeting the specific needs of the LGBT.
