Lantie Jorandby
Dr. Jorandby graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She attended medical school and completed her residency at the University of Florida. For seven years, Dr. Jorandby worked as a staff psychiatrist and mental health supervisor at the Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Viera, Florida. After completing her an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at Yale University, Dr. Jorandby became Medical Director for the dual diagnosis unit at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts. She also served as faculty at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry. After relocating to Washington, DC, Dr. Jorandby worked as the Chief Psychiatrist of a mental and physical health clinic, where she held the position for four years before joining Lakeview Health. Dr. Jorandby one of less than 200 physicians in the United States who is dual board certified in addiction medicine, and psychiatry and neurology.
Ellen Ovsen
Dr. Ellen Ovson, M.D., FASAM joined Lakeview Health in 2017. She has more than 18 years of experience in addiction medicine and is board certified in internal medicine and certified in addiction medicine by the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Board of Addiction Medicine. As Lakeview Health’s medical director, she leads the entire medical team and serves at the authority on all medical issues. Dr. Ovson earned her undergraduate degree at Emory University and graduated from medical school at the University of Alabama. She did her internship at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in North Carolina and her residency at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. She is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Addiction Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine, where she held several leadership positions.

Daniel Leavins, DMSc, MSHA, PA-c is a physician assistant affiliated with Lakeview Health in Jacksonville, Florida. Mandy Jack
Amanda Jack is a licensed mental health counselor who has worked with dually diagnosed patients since 2002. As Lakeview Health’s clinical director, she is responsible for overseeing clinical services, creating clinical programming, and leading the clinical, patient advocate and wellness teams. Amanda earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Ball State University.
Kacie Sasser
Kacie Sasser has 16 years of nursing experience with a special focus in nursing administration and working with individuals with addictions and mental health disorders. She is responsible for leading the nursing and behavioral health technician teams at Lakeview Health. Kacie earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Georgia Southern University and her master’s in nursing and family nurse practitioner at South University in Savannah, Georgia.
Philip Warrick
Philip Warrick, LMHC started his career in the field while working as a Substance Abuse Counselor at an inpatient facility in Tampa, Florida focusing specifically on treatment for professionals in the medical field. He also served as a Field-Therapist in the Orlando area working with children struggling with Dual Diagnosis Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders. Philip started as a therapist at Lakeview Health in 2016, and was promoted two years later to clinical manager of The Star. He is responsible for supporting the Clinical team to ensure patients develop the healthy foundation necessary for long term recovery, and acts as the department’s liaison providing communication ensuring patients receive the high quality of care Lakeview Health stands for. Philip earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida prior to earning his master’s degree in counselor education – mental health counseling from the University of South Florida. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) designation.

Alicia earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Mercyhurst University prior to earning her Masters in Social Work from Florida State University. Alicia is currently pursuing her Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) designation. Alicia joined the Lakeview Health team in 2015 as a graduate-level intern. Following her internship, Alicia took a full-time position as a Patient Advocate and transitioned to a therapist role in 2016. She was promoted to Weekend Clinical Manager in 2019 and assumed responsibility for supporting the clinical team and serving as the liaison between all departments on the weekends to ensure that quality programming and patient care is provided 7 days a week. Alicia is also a certified yoga instructor and enjoys bringing tools of mindfulness and meditation into her therapeutic practice.
Kaitlyn Pettyjohn

Kaitlyn earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Welfare from the University of North Florida. She is now planning to further her education by pursuing her Master’s Degree in Social Work in hopes to become a therapist. Kaitlyn has been a team player at Lakeview Health since 2014 in which she first gained experience in medical records before transferring to a case management role at the Women’s Program, The Rose of Lakeview.
