Phillip Johnson is CFO at Lakeview Health. He works in the Deerfield Corporate Office and oversees our financial affairs through managing the following departments: Finance including Payroll, Revenue Cycle, Intake, IT and Data Analysis. He has proven to be a valuable team player in providing guidance, preparation, and oversight to the Lakeview team regarding annual budgets, operational and financial reporting. Phillip is also responsible for annual audit and tax compliance and reporting in accordance with GAAP and GAAS.
Phillip joined Lakeview Health in 2018 with more than two decades of experience in executive C-level healthcare leadership roles. Phillip brings a unique skill set with experiences in finance, accounting, clinical and operations. Most recently Phillip served as CFO for Gastro Health, LLC and was successful in leading the 100+ Physician Group through its first Private Equity partnership. His experiences also include executive roles at Kindred Healthcare, Universal Health Services, The Hyatt Corporation and The Avante Group. He was also successful in assisting several companies with planning and implementation for strategic growth initiatives and reorganization. Phillip is a Certified Public Accountant and has a BBA in Accounting from Francis Marion University (USC). He is currently serving as a member of three CPA societies in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
Phillip has lived in Florida for eight years and loves scuba diving, boating, and grilling. His passion is to help others and only wishes to make a difference in the lives of our patients, his peers, family and friends.
