The Lakeview Health family of treatment centers is proud to offer eating disorder treatment for adult women at Koru Spring. Koru Spring opened in 2023 after the Lakeview team began seeing an increasing number of female patients suffering from both eating disorders and substance use disorder.
Historically, patients suffering from both conditions have struggled to be placed in treatment or experienced stressful transfers between treatment centers. With the desire to create a sense of continuity for patients, Koru Spring is located just steps aways from The Rose. This allows for a seamless transition between the two as patients’ treatment needs evolve.
Patients in need of medically monitored detox begin their treatment journey at The Rose. Here, patients receive round-the-clock care from addiction professionals for a safe and comfortable detox. When they are ready, these patients can then transition to Koru Spring to begin treatment for eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and OSFED.
At Koru Spring, patients work with a team of physicians, registered dietitians, and masters-level therapists to develop healthy coping skills while healing physically. We offer a variety of programming options for patients at Koru Spring including family workshops, hands on cooking experientials, meal outings, and more. Patients also have the option of attending virtual and in-person AA meetings.
