We have all heard on countless occasions that abusing drugs and alcohol is bad for our health. We hear scary statistics of people who were killed as a result of their addiction, see horrifying pictures of addiction and yet so many people still go on to live their daily life in the grips of drug addiction and alcohol abuse. If a person is genetically predisposed to addiction then they are more likely to suffer from the disease.
