Jacksonville, FL – Roy M. Serpa has been named president and chief executive officer of Lakeview Health. Mr. Serpa, a Dallas native, relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, to help advance the vision and mission of Lakeview to better serve patients and families struggling with substance use and dual diagnosis disorders. Roy has close to 30 years of experience in management and operations within the home health care industry. He has increased access to services, improved quality of care and strengthened staff resiliency as CEO and Partner at Jordan Home Health Services, one of the largest home care providers in Texas. Additionally, he was President of Chartwell Diversified Services, Inc., a nationally recognized provider of Home Health and Infusion services. In his short 6-month tenure, Roy has made both internal and external advances to the look and feel of Lakeview. A few of the most recent changes that have had far-reaching effects for Lakeview’s employees and especially its patients, including a more holistic approach using yoga, meditation, exercise and an improved meal program. Future improvements are also in store for Lakeview’s facilities and programs. Facility upgrades will start with a state-of-the art fitness facility, increased clinical training to incorporate more evidence-based treatment and a stronger investment in the existing specialty programs, including the Christian rehab program.
