Inpatient Rehab Program

The inpatient rehab program at Lakeview Health is the level of care between detox and partial hospitalization program/intensive outpatient program. As a person’s body and mind begin to heal from active addiction, it may take a little time for someone to have a clear mind and be able to focus on their recovery. Rehab and inpatient residential assists in this transition period.

During rehab at Lakeview Health, individuals are assigned a primary therapist. They begin assimilating to their daily schedule, meeting peers, and their therapist and other providers who make up their multidisciplinary treatment team.

Inpatient Residential Rehab Overview

During an inpatient residential rehab stay, patients reside at the facility in semi-private rooms and participate in a variety of therapeutic sessions. • Psychoeducation group
  • Expressive therapy groups
  • Specialty groups
  • Trauma group
  • Goals and values group
  • Spirituality group
  • Life trauma group
  • Gestalt expressive group
  • Treatment reflection group
  • Relapse prevention therapy group
  • Self-awareness therapy group
  • Team building and resilience group
  • Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction group

Daily Life in Alcohol & Inpatient Drug Rehab

Since Lakeview is a gender-responsive program, men and women complete our inpatient drug rehab or inpatient alcohol treatment in separate program spaces and have separate living quarters at the facility. The Star of Lakeview is our men’s program, and the Rose of Lakeview is our women’s pFrogram.

The clinical program accounts for specialty groups that help men and women address factors that are predominately related to each gender. Each day patients maintain a structured schedule that incorporates various clinical therapy groups, medical and psychiatric appointments as needed, expressive therapies, spirituality therapies, and wellness therapies.

Evidenced-Based and Data-Informed Therapy

The inpatient rehab and residential program encompasses evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Family Therapy, Psychodynamic-Oriented Psychotherapy, Gestalt Therapy, Medication Assisted Detox and Medically-Informed Psychopharmacology, and Trauma-Informed Care, to name a few.

Evidence-based therapies provide the structure, insight, support, and skill-building that forms a solid foundation for those who struggle with addiction and related mental health issues. This transforms your coping mechanisms from harmful to helpful, and this positions people for greater potential to continue their recovery journey outside of a treatment environment.

Inpatient Residential Community

Patients are divided into gender-responsive programs, which means that men and women are in completely separated. Each primary group includes about 5-12 patients and communities have 20-24 total patients. Although each program may be large, we believe that by keeping the primary groups and communities small, patients can begin to develop relationships with other men or women who are going through a similar experience. This can help patients feel more comfortable opening up in group settings, build their self-confidence, develop a peer support network, and ultimately aid in their focus on their own recovery.
