Women’s Campus Tour
The Lakeview Health alcohol and drug rehab center is a world away from the chaos of addiction—a modern, comfortable facility in sunny Jacksonville, Florida. Here you’ll find both excellent medical care and a peaceful atmosphere that supports healing and recovery.
The Rose of Lakeview, Women’s Program
Our newly opened, the Rose of Lakeview women-only program is a 54-bed, 35,600-square-foot facility. It is a gender-responsive, trauma-informed program focusing on women’s addiction recovery. The program provides housing for women in treatment and serves as the location for their detox, medical care, and primary therapy.
The Rose of Lakeview includes all the features of a luxury retreat. The Oakleaf cafe serves both healthy dishes and comfort food to help women recover while feeling at home. All of our food items are prepared by our in-house, classically trained chef using the freshest ingredients of the season. Our leisure spaces and the rooms for individual and group therapy are designed to enhance comfort so patients can focus on what’s important: their healing and recovery.
Our facility provides opportunities for outdoor and indoor activities that contribute to recovery. Our wellness center is filled with a large variety of exercise equipment, a yoga room, a running track, and a lap pool. A garden provides access to quiet space along the lake, and a labyrinth is available for walking meditation. The Rose of Lakeview also includes a spa to help women relax and destress while developing mindfulness.
Our on-site accommodations will not be mistaken for hospital rooms. Instead, they have the warm atmosphere of a cozy apartment. Each semiprivate room is spacious and well furnished. In place of drab hospital bedding, our beds have multiple pillows and colorful quilts. Each guest has her own armoire. And to help patients feel at home and connected to their families, we have provided boards in their rooms where they can hang personal pictures of those they love. The rooms are close to attending doctors and clinical therapists 24-hours a day. Rooms at the Rose intentionally feel like home, but they also have the facilities to address any medical needs our residents have.
During the partial hospitalization and outpatient phases, patients may live nearby at the Villages, a transitional environment where they have easy access to continuing treatment while they prepare for reentry into everyday life. At the Villages, patients are paired with same-sex roommates and live in comfortable, two-bedroom apartments, each with a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room with a television. Staff members are on-site 24-hours a day, and shuttles are available to take patients to and from the Rose of Lakeview and into town for off-site activities and nightly 12-Step meetings.
