The Rose of Lakeview is our women’s treatment center, located in Jacksonville, Florida. It provides a place for women to begin recovery from drugs, opioids, and alcohol use disorders along with mental health issues. Our continuum of care provides you with medically monitored detoxification to residential treatment to aftercare planning. Every part of the women’s center has been designed to meet the needs of women in recovery.
At the Rose of Lakeview, our board-certified physicians and master’s level therapists address your unique needs as a woman. You are provided a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan to meet you where you are and set a plan in motion to develop healthy coping skills for recovery. A holistic approach addressing the whole person creates the foundation needed for long-term sobriety. You are able to find hope, help, and healing at the Rose of Lakeview.
Taking the first step is tough. We understand what’s going through your mind as you consider checking yourself into rehab. We know what it’s like to be afraid of recovery and sobriety. We really do: every single one of our admissions specialists has been through treatment themselves, which means they’ve been right where you are – or somewhere very similar. To get started, provide your contact information below and one of our specialists will contact you within 30 minutes. They’ll help you begin the admission process, and answer any and all questions you might have – but you have to answer the phone when they call!
The factors that contribute to both addiction and recovery are different for women. The overwhelming majority of women with substance use disorders report at least one incident of significant trauma in their past, including abuse as a child, rape, and other forms of sexual abuse, emotional abuse, and domestic violence. Because the experience of trauma is so closely linked with addiction, our women-only center helps address the trauma as you seek to overcome drug and/or alcohol addiction. This is dual diagnosis treatment.
Our women-only, gender-responsive treatment center has been designed so that space itself plays an active role in the recovery process. Every aspect of the spaces, the curriculum, and the programming are intentional. The Rose of Lakeview is a safe, comfortable, and home-like facility that provides spaces that feel welcome from the moment you step through the doors. Throughout treatment, you’ll have access to specialty programs such as trauma group, eating nutritious chef-created meals in the family style dining room, and relaxation in one of the lounges or meditation room. Additionally, the on-campus 10,000 square foot wellness center is staffed with certified personal trainers who will help you restore physical health and wellbeing through cardio, strength training, and yoga. Everything from your medical care to self-care is part of the healing process. Our addiction treatment center for women provides an integrative approach to help you heal your mind, body, and spirit.
Men and women develop substance use disorders for different reasons. Men and women also enter treatment for different reasons. Each gender has unique needs, which is why gender responsive treatment provides tailored environments, programming, and curriculum. The Rose and The Star facilities in Jacksonville, FL are among a small number of treatment facilities in the U.S. to address alcohol and substance use disorders based on gender needs.
Long-term exposure to alcohol and drugs of abuse has serious consequences for your body, brain, and emotional health. Our medical team is an integral part of our on-site staff, which means they’re a consistent part of your recovery journey. They’re experienced, they have all the relevant medical records and documentation in your file, and they know exactly where you are in the treatment process. They’re experts in addiction and recovery, trained in the latest therapeutic techniques and methods. Our team is your team, ready when you need them.
Chronic pain and the medication most often prescribed to address it, adds an extra layer to an already complex set of challenges for both the physicians treating addiction and the patients in recovery. We’ve developed an integrative, multi-modal program designed specifically for patients in recovery from alcohol, opioid, and substance use disorders who are also managing a chronic pain condition.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy is an FDA approved, noninvasive procedure that utilizes a state of the art Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation device which applies highly focused magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain that may be underactive in patients with depression. TMS therapy is typically used when traditional depression treatment methods haven’t been effective.
The Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment for Professionals Program at Lakeview Health is an addiction recovery program designed specifically for professionals, such as doctors, commercial airline pilots, lawyers, and executives of all industries who happen to be seeking treatment for addiction. Like our Inpatient Rehab Program, the Professional Program occupies the level of care between our Detox and Residential Treatment programs and serves patients with alcohol and substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health disorders, and a history of trauma or post-traumatic stress.
We recognize the fact that recovery continues long after your stay at Lakeview Health. The last day at treatment is the first day of your new life. We teach you the skills required for a successful launch. After that, the responsibility shifts to you, but we neither expect nor want you to do it alone. In the grand scheme of things, your time in rehab is short in comparison to the full arc of your recovery. Our Alumni Program offers on-going support, meet-up, and Recovery Coaching to help you stick with your path of recovery.

Lakeview changed my life. They showed me that I can live sober and free. They taught me how to set boundaries. They taught me how to say no. I would definitely recommend it.
My experience at Lakeview has been a very positive one. I have been forced to look at myself and my life in a new way. I have been given the tools I need to face the world and all its problems, as a clean and sober productive member of society. I have no regrets about coming to Lakeview. The staff and other addicts have been a huge help to my recovery.
During my first trip to Lakeview, I didn’t take it seriously and tried to work my own program. It didn’t work, obviously. During my second trip, I took it seriously and worked the program and I’m very grateful to Lakeview for giving me another chance and grateful they’ve given me the tools to live in the real world. It’s a great center and a great structure.
