Lost Soul Found His Faith in Christian Drug Rehab

I never stopped believing that there was a God. However, something happened that made me lose faith that I could be helped or that my sanity could be restored. Substance abuse had absolutely beaten me down. I stopped caring about what tomorrow was going to bring. All I cared about was how I could get drunk or high in order to ignore my reality.

Every day, I hoped and prayed for help to stop the downward spiral that my drug addiction was causing. I knew that I was capable of being a happy, productive member of society like I was before my addiction took hold of me. Finally, I was at such a low point that I turned to the minister of my childhood church. Without holding back, I told him about everything that was going on in my life. After much discussion, he and I decided that, somewhere along the way, I had lost my faith in God.

He reminded me that God could do for me what I could not do for myself. Shortly after our conversation, my minister told me about an addiction treatment center in Jacksonville, Florida. This rehab center was just what I needed! Because I already believed in God, the Christian drug program was a perfect fit. It was there where I once again became familiar with the teachings of God and how they pertained to the 12-step programs of Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous. I found my faith in God and my sanity was restored. Christian drug rehab helped me to once again become a happy, productive member of society, free from chemical dependency.

I have not picked up a drink or a drug for the last 4 years of my life, and I personally believe that I owe my sobriety to Christian drug rehab.
