Lakeview Health Announces New Chief Executive Officer and President

James R. Evanger will lead the growing organization to help more people find addiction recovery. Jacksonville, Fla. (March 6, 2019) – Lakeview Health, a nationally accredited addiction treatment center located in Florida, has announced James R. Evanger as the new President and CEO. After a comprehensive search process, the board is pleased to have found an individual who matches the company’s high standards with a passion to lead the organization in its quest to help more people find recovery across the United States. Effective February 25, 2019, Evanger is leading the growing organization. A forward-thinking executive, Evanger has a passion for growing organizations and developing teams. Steve Richards, operating partner at The Riverside Company, a global private equity firm that acquired Lakeview Health in 2016, stated, “Jim is the ideal leader for Lakeview because of his in-depth experience helping organizations of various sizes grow. Even more importantly, he is a great fit for the Lakeview Health culture of servant leadership.” Evanger has more than 20 years of experience leading companies as a CEO. His diverse background includes starting companies from scratch, turning them around, and growing them – from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. Most recently he ran a nationwide healthcare provider. Prior experience also includes leading ASM in Jacksonville, FL where he helped turn the organization around through launching a new division, restructuring, and developing staff. “Jim’s proven leadership will be a major asset to Lakeview Health as we continue to provide top-tier treatment to individuals across the country,” said Richards. “Riverside and the board completed an extensive search, and we believe Jim is the best individual for the job.” “The outcomes and clinical success enjoyed by Lakeview patients was so exciting to see,” said Evanger. “I look forward to helping the organization continue its focus on providing exceptional patient care and emerging as the go-to source for anyone suffering from an addiction nationwide.” Evanger holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University. Evanger grew up in Chicago and lived there for much of his life, outside of his college years in Wisconsin. He moved to Florida in 2007.
